All payments must be sent in prior to first lesson. For all students, boarders or day students, late fees will apply after the 2nd week past due (1% of the total fees per week. After the 4th week, your registration will be cancelled and your account charged for registration fees, 4 weeks of lessons and penalty charges($25)
All payments must be sent to Maggie Music Administration staff for processing. Please contact Administrator to know how to hand in your payments.
All yearly lesson fees are due at registration time.
Installment payment is available only to day students and a $10 processing fee is due if you choose this option. Once billed it remains due even if you change your mind.
All withdrawal requests must be submitted in writing or via email to the Managing Partner:

New Students benefit from an evaluation period of 4 weeks during which they can choose to withdraw from the program but after which they will be committed for the remainder of the academic year.
During and only during this evaluation period, lesson fees will be refunded according to the following schedule.
Refunds are subject to a $25 processing fee:
One week before the first lesson – 100% of total lesson fees
During the first two weeks – 75% of total lesson fees
During the third week – 50% of total lesson fees
During the fourth week – 25% of total lesson fees
After the fourth week – No Refund, No Exception ( Day Students that pay with 2 installments will have their 2nd cheque cashed in on January 15th regardless of student status)
Returning Students, lesson fees refunds are permitted only for moving out of the area or for prolonged illness or injury, which will require a Doctor’s note. No evaluation period available for returning students.
IT IS UNDERSTOOD THAT YOU ARE REQUESTING TIME FROM THE INSTRUCTOR, NOT A SERVICE; THEREFORE TIME WILL BE PAID FOR NO MATTER WHAT.
Teacher spaces are limited, when you register, we ask that you hold on to the commitment for the academic year as we may have to switch a student to another instructor because of lack of space.
New piano students will be referred to the primary piano Studio ( Kristine Beny) by default. Only when the class is full, will the students be referred to the next teacher in line, Kelly Charlton
Harassment or intimidation will not be tolerated. Teachers are not responsible for the policies of the school and do not have possibilities to influence the administrative decisions. Please direct all requests to the administration. Any verbal abuse directed to a teacher will result in the immediate dismissal of the student without refunds of lessons.
MISSING LESSONS AND MAKE UPS:
When the teacher is unavailable, the class will be rescheduled at a mutually agreed upon time. If the lessons are not rescheduled by the end of the 2nd semester, you can ask for a refund or a credit, but the final decision will rest with the teacher.
All credits must be requested in writing by May 1st of the academic year. No refund will be given after school closing day.
the following WILL NOT BE MADE UP UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES:
Forgetting the lesson time and/or day,
Missing a scheduled make up lesson,
Sleep over, school parties,
PERSONAL VACATIONS OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL SCHEDULED VACATIONS.
However, the teacher may agree to reschedule a lesson the student missed if sufficient notice is given AND the absence justified. It will always be at the discretion of the teacher.
Special events like your own (only) birthday party, concerts, sport competitions, MAY BE made up if the schedule allows it, and ONLY ONCE per academic year. Choose wisely!
